Rose A. Luckenbach
Rose A. Luckenbach, 76, of Allentown, died Monday, Feb. 13, 2017, in her home. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Pauline P. White Gwiadzinski. Rose was married to the late Bernard J. Luckenbach for 33 years. Rose endured the effects of MS for 30 years, which eventually confined her to her home. She remained strong in her Catholic faith, receiving Communion and praying the rosary. She lived for her granddaughter, Viktorya. Surviving are three sons, Edmund and wife, Linda, Lehighton; Thomas and wife, Melissa, Schuylkill Haven; and Michael, Allentown; sisters, Marian and husband, Michael Wanyo, Plains Township; and Elaine Tag, Macungie; brother, Anthony Gwiadzinski, Sellersville; and granddaughter, Viktorya Lukenbach, Schuylkill Haven. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cathedral of St. Catharine of Siena Church, 18th and Turner streets, Allentown. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Friday in Robert C. Weir Funeral Home, 1802 Turner St., Allentown. Interment services will follow the Mass in Mount Olivet Cemetery Chapel, 612 Mount Olivet Road, Wyoming.
