Ronnie Morganflash, 63, of Fort Lupton, passed away Oct. 8 at his home. He was born May 26, 1953, in Hastings, Neb., to Charles and Bessie (Bush) Morganflash. He attended schools in Lakewood and married Paula Smith April 1, 1972, in Denver. Ronnie lived in the north Fort Lupton area for the last 35 years. He was a truck driver for 435 Teamsters Union for more than 30 years. He was an avid Cornhuskers and Broncos fan who spent much of his free time couponing, which he loved. He especially loved his dogs and befriended all animals, and they seemed to love him right back. In his younger years, Ronnie enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and truly enjoyed the time he spent with his friends and family. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Paula, of Fort Lupton; two children, Shahn (Ana) and Brett (Nadine) Morganflash, of Brighton; a sister, Kathy (Frank) Bergen, of Oregon; three brothers, Chuck Morganflash, of Commerce City, Gary (Mary) Morganflash, of Texas, and Jim Morganflash, of Fort Lupton; eight grandchildren, Miguel, Nick, Kathy, Draven, Bernadette, Santana, Sofia and Kendall; and one great-grandchild, Aylynn. Visitation was Oct. 14 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton, which handled the arrangements.
