Ronald F. "Butch" Pesotini
Ronald F. "Butch" Pesotini, 89, of Spring Brook Township, formerly of Duryea, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016, at his home. He was raised in Duryea, born Jan. 4, 1927, and was the son of the late Harold Edsell and Frieda Pesotini. Butch was a member of Nativity of Our Lord Parish (Holy Rosary Church) Duryea. He was a 1945 graduate of Duryea High School. After high school, Ronald worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He then became well versed in cabinet making. He was employed by Gleason Kitchens and he retired from Deitzer Kitchen Cabinet Co., Duryea. Butch served on council for the borough of Duryea in the 1970s. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Berneice Piliero; his brothers-in-law, Daniel Piliero and Joseph Bartocci. Butch is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Clara Bartocci Pesotini; his sons, Ronald Jr. and his wife, Dawn, Duryea; Leonard and his wife, Debbie, West Pittston; and Dennis and his wife, Robin, of East Stroudsburg. Also surviving are nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday from Kiesinger Funeral Services Inc., 255 McAlpine St., Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Nativity of Our Lord Parish Church (Holy Rosary Church), Stephenson Street, Duryea.
