Ronald G. Lasko 1948 - 2016 Ronald G. Lasko, 68, of Twin Lakes, Wis., died Thursday afternoon, Oct. 13, 2016, at United Health Care - St. Catherine's Campus. Ronald Gene Lasko was born on July 1, 1948, in Chicago, Ill., the son of the late Frank C. and Ruth Klopp Lasko. He moved to Twin Lakes in 1949. He graduated from Wilmot High School in 1966. Ron served as a Sp4 in The U.S. Army from May 24, 1968 until discharge on May 22, 1970. He earned the Vietnam service medal and the Air medal. Ron was an entrepreneur throughout his lifetime. He was a former salesman for Edison Liquors in Milwaukee, Wis., worked for the Edgewater in Twin Lakes and owned and operated Dynies Tap in Salem, Wis., for many years. He also owned several rental properties in the Twin Lakes area. Ron was a former member of the Twin Lakes Vol. Fire Department and Rescue Squad and the Twin Lakes American Legion Post #544. He enjoyed boating, snowmobiling, biking and golfing. Ron is survived by two daughters, Wendy (Bob) Swanson) Lasko of Silver Lake, Wis., and Tracy (Steve) Dortch of Genoa City, Wis.; his fiancée, Louise Stephens of Twin Lakes, Wis.; three grandchildren, Zachary (Shannon) Behl, Elizabeth Behl and Ethan Dortch; one great grandchild, Brooklyn Behl; and one brother, James (Kathy) Lasko of Twin Lakes, Wis. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Frank Lasko. The Lasko Family will receive friends from 4 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 19, 2016, until the time of funeral services at 7 p.m. at the Haase-Lockwood & Assoc. Funeral Home in Twin Lakes. Interment will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Southern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in the Town of Dover, WI. Memorial Remembrances may be made to the Twin Lakes Rescue Squad, 236 E.
