Ronald Belcher
Ronald Belcher Went home to be with the Lord, on February, 7, 2017 at the age of 69. While under the kind and compassionate care of the staff at Stoneleigh Residence in Lansing. He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Belcher; wife, Martha Belcher; son, Ronald Glynn-Belcher; daughter, Sellera Croom; twin brother, Donald and brother, Melvin Belcher also special cousin Shirley Little. Ronald leaves to cherish his memory, mother, Minnie Lee Belcher; nine children; twenty-four grandchildren; six siblings; many nieces and nephews. He was a Faithfull servant to the Lord; loving family member and friend to many. He will be greatly missed. Mr. Belcher was born in Atlanta, Georgia to Calvin and Minnie Lee (Harris) Belcher on April 1, 1947 and was raised in Jackson, Michigan then relocated to Lansing, with his family in 1983. Mr. Belcher is a United States Army Veteran and retired as a Barber. He attended New Life Church of God in Christ. His Home going Celebration will be held at the Reachout Christian Center Church (5682 Wise Road Lansing, Michigan 48911) with Pastor Rick Smith, Sr. officiating, on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at 12:00 noon with the family hour to begin at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, at Chas. J Burden & Son Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, Michigan 49202) from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mr. Belcher will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery in Lansing with Military Honors. In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Hospice of Lansing.
