Ron Brown August 27, 1942 September 18, 2016 Ron Brown, 74, of Hesperia, CA died suddenly Sunday, September 18, 2016, while enjoying a beautiful morning with his wife, Caryn Brown. Ron was born in Franklin, TN and grew up in Garden Grove, CA but was a longtime resident of the High Desert, where he owned and operated Apple Valley Septic from 1978 to 2008. Ron always had a passion for classic cars, or hot rods as he liked to call them. He refurbished and built many hot rods, and belonged to various car clubs, most recently, Cruising Buddies of Apple Valley. He was also the President of High Desert Vintage Tin in the 1980's. Ron loved to travel, and to see new things and new towns. He and his wife traveled this great country in their motorhome and racked up some good stories to tell their loved ones upon their return. Ron showed his love to his friends and family through giving. He was always ready and able to lend a hand or give gifts that he knew his friends and family would love and appreciate. Ron also had a soft spot in his heart for animals - he adored his dog Buddy, and grew quite fond of his kitties Queenie, Sissy, JB, Mike and Molly. He and his wife lived on a beautiful five-acre ranch where they raised their own chickens and planted vegetable gardens. He and his wife hosted many parties and shared good times with their friends and family. Ron was loved by all who knew him - hearing some of the stories of his life recounted in recent days has been truly moving to understand and realize the level of friendship that Ron shared with so many people. Gone too soon, he will truly be missed.
