Romeo "Ray" Cervi
Cervi, Romeo "Ray" Romeo Vito Cervi, 85, a 50 year resident of White Plains died on October 12, 2016 after a long illness at home. 'Ray' was born in Port Chester, NY in 1930 to the late Ernesto and Carmela Cervi. He was a proud graduate of Port Chester High School and a Korean War veteran. He was a longtime master plumber. He is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Josephine, and 2 loving children - Marie Cervi of Hartsdale and Ernest Cervi of Southhampton, NY. Also surviving are a brother Domenick 'Shave' Cervi of Port Chester, and sisters Ida Petrone of Cos Cob, CT. and Anna DeMarco of Rye Brook, NY. Two sisters-in-law Linda Asta of MA. and Teresa Fabiano of PA. and numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.He was predeceased by his sister Amelia Stingone and brother Ernest Cervi. His enduring spirit and good-nature will be forever missed.Visitation will be 2-4 & 7-9PM on Friday October 14, 2016 at Craft Memorial Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be 9:30AM on Saturday October 15, 2016 at Corpus Christi Church, 136 South Regent St, Port Chester NY. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery Rye Brook, NY.
