Robert Trpinc
Robert (Bob) Trpinc, of Pembroke Pines, originally from Millsboro, PA passed away January 12, 2017 at Nininger Veterans Nursing Home. A WWII Army Veteran survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Cecilia. They met at White Sulphur Springs Hospital, WV after his return from the Pacific Theatre suffering from Malaria. She was working as a WAC. They married three weeks later. Bob was employed at Eastern Airlines in Miami for 25 years. Son of John and Hilda. He was a devoted husband, brother, caring father, uncle, Pop Pop and a friend to all. Survived by sons David and Charles; daughter Lois McStravick (Jim), grandson Robert, his namesake, (Stephanie); great granddaughter Rosemary Cecilia; sister Roberta (Harry); nephews John (Nicole), Ron, Paul (Susan); great nephews Paul G and Nikki. At the age of ten when his baby sister required a name, he told his parents that he already loved her so much to call her his name with an a at the end. Robert was always willing to help even if you didn't know you needed it. With treasured memories and many photos he lives on with us. Service with Military Honors will be January 25th,11:30am at South FL National Cemetery, Lake Worth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Bob's honor to alz.org .
