Rob graduated from ISU with a BS in Math, Physics, and Certificates in Engineering. His military career started in ROTC while attending Pocatello schools and followed with active duty in Germany. His honorable discharge as a 1st Lt. was completed in 1963. Rob worked as an engineer with Convair in Ponoma, CA and later was transferred to Port Hueneme, working on the USS Norton Sound developing the first computerized missile guidance.
