Robert G. Pierce
Robert G. Pierce, 83, of Concord died December 14, 2016 at Concord Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Glen Cove, NY in 1933 to William and Alice Pierce He served in the U.S. Army in Korea for 2 years as an aircraft mechanic and was honorably discharged as a Private First Class in 1955. Robert was also in the Army Reserves for 8 years. After moving to New Hampshire in 1970, he worked as a telephone repair person for New England Telephone and AT&T for over 30 years, retiring in 1986. Family includes two daughters, Heather Emery and husband Steven of Penacook, and Laurie Rouleau and husband Michael of Portsmouth; four grandchildren, Brendan Emery and wife Stacey of Penacook, Andrew MacDonald and wife Kadie of Rochester, Alison Bouchard and husband Keith of Salem, and Patrick MacDonald and significant other Kelsey Foley of Dover; six great-grandchildren, Liam, Luke, Ryan, Claire, Wyatt, and Ethan; two brothers, William Pierce and wife Flo of FL, Daniel Pierce and wife Lee of KS; several nieces and nephews; and his special friend Dot Kopejzna. He was predeceased by both parents: his infant daughter Tammy Pierce; and two brothers, Raymond and Kenneth Pierce. Calling hours at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North St., Manchester, will be Saturday, January 14th from 9:15 to 11:15 p.m. with a service of remembrance beginning promptly at 11:15 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
