Robert Charles Miller, 75, of Hendersonville went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Cherry Springs Village following a period of declining health. A native of Dearborn, MI, he had resided in Henderson County for the past 16 years. He was a son of the late Charles and Florence Miller. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Nancy, in January. Robert was a member of Boiling Springs Baptist Church and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a tool & dye maker for Ford Motor Company for 31 years. He had an engineering mind, and could make or fix nearly anything. He was an artist with an extremely high IQ, even holding a patent for gingerbread siding. Robert had a love for both cars and airplanes, and having his pilot's license was a proud achievement. He loved animals and nature in general, as he spent much of his time outdoors. He was an avid reader who could often be found studying his Bible. Family was extremely important to him, and he cherished every moment he could share with them. He is survived by his brother, Terry Miller of Hendersonville; daughters, Tammy Anderson (Kevin) of El Paso, TX and April Miller, also of El Paso, TX; grandchildren, Paul Taylor Anderson, Justin Anderson, Bailey O'Leary and Casey Feuerstein. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Boiling Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Cody Sturgill officiating. The family will receive friends from 12-1 prior to the service at the church. Online condolences may be offered by visiting www.shulerfuneralhome.com.
