Robert Clarence Lenhart, 90, of Fleetwood, died February 13, 2017 at Penn State Health - St. Joseph, Bern Township. He was the loving husband of E. Patricia (Harmison) Rhoads Lenhart, to whom he was married July 20, 2001. Robert was predeceased by his first wife, June V. (Kauffman) Phenegar, who died December of 2005, and his second wife, Deane G. (Ritter) Lenhart who died March of 1989. Born July 20, 1926 in Wanamakers, Lehigh County, he was a son of the late Clarence S. and Eva S. (Klingaman) Lenhart. Robert was a 1944 graduate of Hamburg High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Robert was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, Fleetwood. He was employed as a rural mail carrier with the U.S. Post Office, Fleetwood, for 33 years, retiring in 1981. Robert was the owner and operator of East Penn Realty Company for 10 years, which he retired from in 1991. He was a life member of Rockland Gun Club and American Legion #625, Fleetwood. Robert was an avid golfer and hunter. Surviving are his two daughters, Susan G. (Lenhart), wife of Donald N. Zigler, of Gardeners, Adams County, and Sharon K. (Lenhart), wife of Mark Grim, of Gettysburg, Pa. Also surviving are his two stepdaughters: Karen K. (Rhoads) Barone of Limerick, and Loren L. (Rhoads) Ulrich of Cumru Township. Other survivors include his brother, James A. Lenhart of Edenburg; and his two sisters, Grace E. (Lenhart) Shollenberger of Fleetwood, and Marie A. (Lenhart) Boyer of Fleetwood. There are also five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandsons. Robert was predeceased by his four siblings: Paul, Thomas and Elmer Lenhart; and Edith Bagin. Services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at St. Paul's U.C.C., 5 W. Arch Street, Fleetwood, PA 19522. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery of Centre Township. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to: St. Paul's U.C.C. at the above address.
