Jackson, Robert Lee Mr. Robert Lee Jackson was born to the late Edd and Annie Jackson of Snowdoun, Alabama on September 16, 1943. He departed this life on Friday, October 14, 2016. Funeral rites will be held Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. from Day Street Missionary Baptist Church, Montgomery, Alabama. Rev. Ronald L. Davis, officiating. Interment in Jericho Churchyard Cemetery, Snowdoun, Alabama. The body will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral services. Viewing of the remains will be Friday afternoon. He received his education from the Montgomery County Public Schools. Robert resided in Montgomery and Philadelphia, PA. Upon his return to Montgomery, he was employed by Russell Corporation where he received many recognitions for attendance and leadership prior to his retirement after 25 years of service. He was united in matrimony to Sarah Stovall and to this union was born one daughter, LaMetrie Dionne Jackson. Robert leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife, Sarah, daughter, LaMetrie and two loving grandchildren , Alexia and Cameron. Hattie Turner, Philadelphia, PA, Lottie (Johnny Earl) Colvin, Huntsville, AL, sister-in-laws; Betsy Hogan, (Capital Heights, MD), Celia Stovall, (Brooklyn, NY), and Geneva (Homer) Lyons, (Castleberry, AL), brother-in-laws; Robert (Jackie) Stovall, (Pike Road, AL), Ocie (Linda) Stovall, (Virgina Beach, VA), Aunt, Pearlie Jackson, (Lakeland, FL), and a host of other relatives and dear friends, including the Day Street Missionary Baptist Church family.
