In memory of
ROBERT F. DRAGER
On Friday, January 13, 2017, Jesus opened the doors of Heaven and welcomed Bob. Bob was born in Berea, Ohio to Blanche and Flory Drager, attended St. Adalbert's elementary school, and Berea High. Bob leaves behind his loving wife Barbara of 54 years. He also leaves behind his 2 wonderful sons, Robert (Joyce) and Christopher. He is also survived by 3 stepsons, Joe, Tom, and Kevin, and 6 step grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his brother Raymond Drager. He is survived by his sister Loretta Juergens and brother Leonard Drager along with many nieces and nephews. Bob's love for his fellow man was exemplified by his daily actions toward his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to meet him. Bob loved his church, his neighbors, and everyone he met. He loved gardening and teaching his son Christopher the important things in life--love. He loved hanging out with his son Rob and talking about everyday events. His favorite phrase was "Family is more than DNA, it's about people who care and take care of each other." Any man or woman would be proud to call Bob "brother" or "friend". The family wishes to thank all who were there for Bob and his family: Father Ron Bryda, Sandy Lynn, Dr. Mike McNamara, Jung Song, Dr. Vassil and his wonderful staff. A special thanks to the Cleveland Clinic Hospice and especially Dawn (a wonderful caregiver). To the angels: Fran Bartkiewicz, Donna and Bob Clark, Doug Moehle, Sharon Flippo, and many, many more support people. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. & 6-8 P.M. on Monday, January 16, 2017, at Waite & Son Funeral Home, 765 N. Court St., Medina. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, January 17, at Our Lady Help of Christians, 9608 Norwalk Rd., Litchfield, OH 44253. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Hinckley. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions given to the Branch Road Home. A fund is set up at Fifth Third Bank.
