Richard Yee Ong
Richard Yee Ong 1942-2016 Richard Yee Ong, 74, of Houston passed away in early December 2016. Richard was a graduate of Reagan High School and was a Vietnam veteran who proudly served his country until his discharge in 1969. He received his associates degree from L.A. City College as a Certified Dental Technician. Richard went on to found Creative Dental Arts in Houston. Richard will be remembered for his love of cars and antique motorcycles and for his uniquely wry sense of humor and quick wit. His devotion to animal welfare was a testament to his kind heart and to the joy his many animals brought to him throughout his life. They were the inspiration of many of the hilarious stories he loved to tell. Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Jeong Koh Ong and Wong Shee Ong and by his brother Robert Ong and sister Mary Ann Wong. He is survived by his brother, Albert Ong and sisters, Jean Sugita, Virginia Lew, Margaret Garza, and Irene Joe. He leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, and motorcycle buddies. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079.
