In memory of
Richard "Dick" Myers of Loveland, CO passed away peacefully on October 6, 2016 with his family at his side. Richard was born January 12, 1935 in his home in Mona, North Dakota to Dwight and Olga Myers. He was raised on the farm and later joined the Army in 1954. Richard was active duty for two years and served in the reserves until he was honorably discharged October 31, 1962. He married Carolyn Vesey later that year and divorced in 1988. He moved his family to Colorado in 1973 and they made Loveland their home in 1974. Richard was a journeyman lineman for the City of Loveland for 25 years until his retirement in 1999. Richard loved the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed snowmobiling, gardening and doing home improvement projects. Richard was a John Deere enthusiast, collecting numerous riding and toy tractors. Richard is survived by his 3 children: daughter Brenda (Tim) Matuszek, and sons Mitchell (Donna) Myers and Rick Myers; 4 grandchildren, Kelsi, Kyle, Krista and Ryan; 4 sisters and a brother. He is preceded in death by his son Wayne. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:30pm on Friday, October 21, 2016 at Allnutt Funeral Service in Loveland.
