Richard Gordon Guild, 83 of Lynnwood, Washington passed away peacefully at home on September 12, 2016, surrounded by family. Richard was born in Vader, Washington on December 20, 1932, to Richard and Georgia Guild. They moved to Raymond, Washington when he was six years old. He graduated from Raymond High in 1951. He moved to Lynnwood in 1956. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle, of 58 years; daughters: Doreen (Bill) Garrod of Idaho, Charlene (Mike) Lamb of Bothell, Wash., Tamela (Mike) Grams of Everett, Wash.,; sons: Brian (Verna) of Chehalis, Wash., Michael (Elizabeth) of Monroe, Wash., Tom (Anita) of Texas, and Greg (Audrey) of Alaska. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Ramona, and a 21 year old grandson, Alfred Gordon Guild. Richard retired at 62 after working 35 years with Safeway in Bellevue, Washington. He was a hunter, loved to fish, golfed, traveled, and enjoyed spending time with his family. He had 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren. He was a kind and gentle man who was loved by everyone. A private service will be held by family on his birthday.
