RICHARD D. "DICK" DOMHOFF
DOMHOFF RICHARD D. "DICK" Age 84, of Shaler Township, returned home to be with his heavenly father on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. He was born on March 1, 1933, in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Edward and Alfreda Hart Domhoff. He was the devoted husband of Romelda "Roni" Mancinelli Domhoff for 59 years; beloved father of Deb Rusteberg (Greg), of Chicago, IL, Rick Domhoff (Natalie) of Wexford, PA; cherished brother of the late Edward and Norman Domhoff (Lois); much-loved grandfather of Leslie Mabry (Dallas); treasured great-grandfather of Elle and Dallas James Mabry. Richard was an Army veteran and retired from H.J. Heinz after a 33-year career. He was a loyal Pittsburgh sports fan, with an extraordinary love for baseball as a player and fan. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, fishing, playing cards and loved to test his luck at the slots. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix hence his nickname "Magic". Beyond these interests, his ultimate passions were his family and caring for others. He was a friend to everyone, the life of the party, and will be dearly missed. As per Richard's wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to PERMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES. A memorial Church Service will be conducted at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 2510 Middle Road, Glenshaw, PA 15116 on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Private messages of condolences may be sent to www. permanfuneralhome.com . In lieu of flowers, the family has selected the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 500, Chicago IL 60611 https://secure. pulmonaryfibrosis.org/ checkout/donation?eid= 115886 should you wish to donate in Richard's memory.
