Richard L. Beaupre
Richard (Rick) L. Beaupre, 79, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Evergreen Health Care Center. He was born in Caribou, ME, son of the late Leo and Alice (Tardiff) Beaupre. Richard worked as a welder for Pratt & Whitney and Hamilton Standard for many years. He served our country in the Coast Guard during the Vietnam War, and was a member of the Strazza, Tonoli-Emhoff Post No. 26 American Legion in Stafford and St. Edward Parish. Richard enjoyed bowling, fishing, snowmobiling, and golfing, and he was an avid Red Sox, Patriots, and UCONN fan. He enjoyed his family, especially his grandchildren and great granddaughters, and he had a great sense of humor. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Arline (Hurchala) Beaupre; two daughters; Terry Whalen and her husband Mark, and Michele Miller and her husband Robert; seven grandchildren, Jessica DiPillo and her husband Dan, Joshua Hatch and his wife Ashley, Stacy Zevetchen and her husband Peter, Trevor Simpson, Courtney, Erin, and Stephanie Miller; four great granddaughters, Mia, Aubree, Piper and Evah Lily; a brother, Galen Beaupre and his wife Sandra; a brother-in-law, John S. Hurchala, Jr.; and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Holland and husband David. He was predeceased by his son, Bruce Beaupre and sister, Marlene Hurchala. His funeral will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2016 with a procession forming by 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 from 5 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
