Reynolds F. Weeden Jr.
Reynolds Weeden Jr. Reynolds F. Weeden Jr., 64, of New Baltimore, Mich., born March 24, 1952, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016. Junior, as he was known, retired from Wolf Branch School in Swansea, Ill. He was a caring person, husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and more; and was a family man and devoted husband to Judy and father to Derek. He was so proud of his family and loved Judy, Derek, Autumn, Avery and Shelby so very much. His granddaughters, Avery and Shelby, were so special to him; they would get him going when nothing else would. Junior also had great love for his parents, Frank and Florene; his sisters, Tonia, Sherry and Jean; and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and his many, many friends. He loved baseball and his favorite team was, of course, the St. Louis Cardinals, even though he ended up in Michigan (sorry, Tigers, it wasn't going to happen). He loved fishing, golf, camping, bowling, softball and playing poker. He was a tease and surely each of you has had a prank by him at one time or another. He was one of the bravest and strongest men you'll ever know and he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. The final road of his journey was unforgiving, but he fought cancer long and hard with everything he had. His family is so thankful they had him as long as they did, and know the great sacrifices he made. To offset medical expenses, memorial contributions may be made to B.O.S. Bank, 1717 North Illinois, Swansea, Ill. 62226, and will be forwarded to Judy Weeden, his loving wife of 45 years. Services: Services were held in New Baltimore, Mich.
