Dr. RENE PEREZ-TERAN
Dr. PEREZ-TERAN, RENE, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on Oct. 14, 2016; he was 100 years old. Born in Santiago de Cuba, he came to the U.S. in 1963. A physician by profession, he was in private practice for many years in Detroit, Michigan, before moving to Florida. He was a true gentleman, kind, yet strong in spirit, and an example to all who met him; he possessed a wonderful sense of humor, and was a great dancer of Cuban music. He is survived by daughters Dr. Bibi Conde and Dr. Rosa Maria Mayorga and sons-in-law Dr. Cesar Conde and Dr. Alvaro Mayorga-Cortes; grandchildren Cesar Conde, Rosa Maria Mayorga, Dr. Alejandra Mayorga, Jorge Conde, Enrique Conde and respective spouses Pamela, Cristina, Annette; great-grandchildren Lucas, Jorge, Santiago, Ignacio, Julia, Celine Conde; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; many friends and those who have provided support and care throughout the years, especially Gertrudis, Madleen, Ines, Fina, Luisa, Regla, Eugenia, Mina, and Tania. The family also wishes to thank Nursing Services 4 You, and Catholic Hospice medical and administrative staff and all Blue Team members, especially Dr. Ben Villalba. A Catholic mass at Epiphany Church and intimate memorial service was held before interment beside his adored wife Caruca Fernandez, who preceded him into eternal life.
