Rena Cooper
COOPER Rena, of Little Falls, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday afternoon, January 5, 2017. Beloved wife of Gary Cooper and mother to Ozzie, Gracie, Teddy, Benny and Abbie her cherished pets. Rena retired after 30 years of honored and rewarding service as a teacher and reading specialist in the Wayne, NJ School System. Her love for all animals led her to volunteer at the Turtle Back Zoo and with START II Animal Rescue, a labor of love as far as she was concerned. A life long dancer she joined the Best Foot Forward dance troupe where as a cast member she performed at retirement homes and senior centers to entertain both residents and staff all over New Jersey. During her eight year struggle with cancer she became one of the co-founders of WINGS, a cancer support group for women, one of her-proudest accomplishments. Rena. was an adored and remarkable women and will be deeply missed. The Cooper family will receive their relatives and friends on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 4-7 PM at Louis Suburban Chapel 13-01 Broadway (Route 4 West) Fair Lawn, NJ. Memorial donations in memory of Rena Cooper may be made to WINGS.
