In memory of
Reathal "Ann" (Trogdon) GUADAGNA
GUADAGNA, Reathal (Trogdon) "Ann" of New Port Richey, ended her journey Oct. 12, 2016. Born Oct. 2, 1942 to Ed and Arma (Fraley) Trogdon in Wayne, WV. Ann enjoyed poetry. Two of her best written poems were printed in "Dusting Off Dreams" and "Treasure the Moment". Ann's greatest joy in life was spending time with her children, Jo Ellen Cummings and Bryon Mawyer of New Port Richey. Ann leaves behind her dear sister, Ida Sheets of Trinity, FL and a brother, Jim Ed Trogdon (Geraldine) of Wayne, WV. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lenora Grace Van Valkenburg. Ann leaves behind four grandchildren, Jovan, Ronnie, Janeil and Mandy. After retiring from James A. Haley VA Hospital in the Department of Veterans Affairs, she played piano and loved her friends and her church, First Baptist Church New Port Richey. Cancer took her life but it did not take her spirit. She brushed against our lives so gently, she touched us. Her favorite verse from her favorite song, "The Rose" - "When the night has been too lonely and the road has been too long and you think that love is only for the lucky and the strong. Just remember in the winter far beneath the bitter snows lies the seed that with the sun's love, in the spring becomes The Rose." Services will be held at Dobies Funeral Home, 6616 Congress Street on Monday, Oct. 17, 2016 at 2PM with Rich Hendrickson officiating. (727) 841-7555
