Raymond Michael "Bud" Majszak, age 59 died Sunday October 16, 2016 at St. John Hospital in Detroit Michigan with his family at his side. Raymond was born January 23, 1957 in Detroit Michigan. the son of Raymond Edward Majszak and Diane (nee: Derkacz) Majszak.
Ray was raised in Warren and graduated from Cousino High School the class of 1975. While in high school Ray sang with the choir and also served as Student Council Class President his senior year. Ray would travel to Europe with the choir and also pass the approval for students to smoke in the outdoor courtyards while serving as class president.
Following high school Ray attended Macomb Community College and also Retts Radio Electronic Television Trade school. He also worked at Flagg Brothers clothing and shoe store. Ray worked several jobs including Modern Handling Equipment Corporation before finding his niche as a master carpenter. Ray would work many years in the construction trades along with being known to family and friends as the "go to guy" for most projects, repairs, and fixes. He was a handyman and "Jack of all Trades", from construction to fixing cars, Ray was willing to help anyone.
When Ray was not working he enjoyed golfing and bowling. However his best times were cooking and hosting parties for family and friends. Ray seemed to have his greatest happiness while surrounded by his family and friends.
Ray was the loving Dad of Raymond Paul Majszak and Cara Lynne Majszak. He was the beloved son of Raymond Edward and Diane Majszak. Dear husband of DeAnna Spakoff and brother of Diane (Greg) Bald, Jo (Oz) O'Brien, Tony (Laura) Majszak, Mary (Craig) Munnings, Michelle (Kirk) Putze, and the late Michael and the late John Mark Majszak. Raymond is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Visitation Friday 3-9pm at the D.S. Temrowski & Sons Funeral Home, 30009 Hoover Road at Common (12 1/2 Mile Road). Funeral Services Saturday 1pm at the Funeral Home with the family receiving guest from10am-1pm.
