Ralph E. Jacques December 09, 1950 - October 12, 2016 LEOMINSTER -- Ralph E. Jacques, 65, of Leominster, died October 12, 2016, at home after an illness, surrounded by his family. He was born December 9, 1950, in Medford, MA, son of the late Robert and Antoinnette (Scolaro) Jacques. Ralph was a graduate of Hudson High School and Becker College where he received an Associates Degree in Business Administration. He was a US Army Veteran who served from 1970 - 1972, serving in Vietnam, attaining rank of Specialist 4th Class. He received the Bronze Star. Ralph worked as a Correctional Officer at M.C.I. Gardner for 20 years. He was a member of the PTSD Group in Worcester. He coached Pop Warner Football, Leominster High School Football, and the semi-pro Razorbacks Football Team for many years. He played softball many years at Lake Lodge Marlborough and in Leominster. He was a member of St. Cecilia's Parish. Ralph is survived by his wife of 42 years, Carol A. (Malo) Jacques of Leominster, a son, Jamison "Jay" Jacques, and his partner Doreen, of Leominster, a daughter, Jessica Mahoney and her husband, Joseph of Leominster, a brother, Ronald Jacques of Marlborough, a sister, Joann Jacques-Frigon of Maynard, MA and three grandchildren; J.P. Mahoney, Anthony Mahoney and Mia Mahoney, along with a GodChild, Brett Jacques. JACQUES -- Mr. Jacques Funeral will be held Monday, October 17, 2016, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Cecilia's Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA. Calling hours will be held Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
