Aug. 14, 1944 - Oct. 13, 2016 OKLAHOMA CITY Ralph Farrar, Jr., 72, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, passed away Oct. 13, 2016. Ralph was born in Hobart, OK on Aug. 14, 1944. He graduated from Roosevelt High School and from The University of Oklahoma. Ralph proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was the President of Northwest Bank for over thirty years, and after their merger, he was Executive Vice President of MidFirst Bank in Oklahoma City. Ralph was also a successful entrepreneur with a wide variety of business interests. He was an avid fisherman with an affinity for fly-fishing and the outdoors. He had a passion for travel, leaving pieces of his heart in Italy and Colorado. Ralph is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cherri; daughters, Jennifer Patterson and husband Jeff, Brandi Debolt and husband Josh, and Wendi Custer and husband Todd; son, Christopher Lowther; his grandchildren, Christine Lowther, Camryn Patterson, Cassidy Patterson, Isabelle Debolt, and Emersyn Debolt; sister, Sr. Maureen Farrar; brothers, Walter and George; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph, Sr. and Isabelle; his brother, Henry; and his son, Christopher Lee. Ralph was known for his keen wit and dry sense of humor, his wisdom, his good conservative business sense, and was considered by some as one of the best bankers in the state of Oklahoma. Ralph loved his family and friends greatly and he was loved dearly by us. He will be missed so very much. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Oct. 21 at 3 p.m. in the Hahn-Cook Chapel, 6600 Broadway Ext. in Oklahoma City.
