Raine Phoenix

She was born on June 24, 1957 in Marlboro, the daughter of Russell Bourgeois (a.k.a. Russ Burgess) and the late Mary Ann (Willis) Bourgeois of Ashburnham, Mass. Raine is survived by her husband of 23 years Chale Phoenix of Marlboro, her father Russell, and her sister Dianne Bourgeois of Ashburnham. She was predeceased by her mother Mary Ann, her paternal grandparents Gaston and Blanche Bourgeois of Marlboro, and her maternal grandparents Ruby and Vinny Pierozzi of Hudson, Mass. Raine graduated from Marlboro High School in 1975 and enjoyed taking a variety of classes throughout her life. She was an avid reader. She loved cats, especially her own two cats Pooky and Cheyenne who predeceased her. Raine contributed to maintaining a cage at a local cat shelter for many years. In the 1990s, Raine became a Reiki Master and offered her services at her sister Diannes former new age shoppe, Featherstones which was located in Marlboro.
