Rachel Violet Schwartz
HOOKSETT - Rachel Violet Schwartz, born in 1986, of Hooksett, resided in Frisco, Colo., from 2009 to 2016. Rachel returned home to New England where she settled in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, to be close to her family and friends. Rachel graduated from Central High School in Manchester, N.H, and Johnson State College in Vermont, where she studied Wellness and Alternative Medicine. Rachel continued her education while in Colorado, where she became a certified esthetician. Rachel was known for her dedicated work ethic. She was a free-spirited young woman with an incredibly bright future. Her travels brought her from the Green Mountains of Vermont to the Rockies of Colorado where her new friends became her second loving family and she, their shining light. She had a passion for being outdoors, snowboarding, mountain biking, and hiking with her dogs. Rachel enjoyed quiet lunches, and time with her family and friends along the ocean, the lakes and mountains of New Hampshire. She had a kind soul, a beautiful smile, a big heart and a bubbly personality that was infectious. You couldn't help but smile when you were around her. Rachel will forever be in the hearts and memories of her family and friends from Maine to Colorado. Rachel leaves behind her loving parents, Colette Therrien, Concord, and Jim and Barbara Schwartz, Barrington; her sister and spouse, Sarah and Joe Chaput, and their children, Elliana and Tyler, Pembroke; step-brother Matt McDonough, California; step-sister Megan McDonough and niece Ella of Maine. On Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2016, Rachel was involved in a motor vehicle accident that took her sweet life. Rachel will always be remembered as a loving daughter, sister, an amazing aunt, sister-in-law, cousin and friend that brought the best out of everyone she knew. . SERVICES: A celebration of life will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King St., Boscawen, N.H., Oct. 22, with a gathering from 1 to 3 p.m., and a service starting at 3 p.m. Rachel rescued and loved many shelter dogs.
