Phyllis (Reed) Truchon, age 95, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 13, 2017 at Presidential Oaks in Concord. She was born Dec. 30, 1921 in Belmont to William H. Reed and Beulah C. Bixby. Phyllis was predeased by her husband, Paul Truchon, who passed away 8 years ago to the day, Feb. 13, 2009. She is survived by one brother, David Randlett and his wife, Ginny of Merrimack; two daughters, Priscilla Bartlett and Kim Truchon of Concord; two sons, Bud Truchon and his wife, Freda of Concord, and Paul and his wife, Janice of Bakersfield, Calif.; many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Phyllis was a Member of the VFW Post 1631 Auxiliary and the American Legion Post 21 Auxiliary. She loved being with Friends and socializing. Her #1 pastime was playing BINGO which she was still playing right up until just a few days before her passing. There will be a celebration of her life on Friday, Feb. 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at the VFW Post 1631. Her nephew, Pastor David Randlett, Jr. will be conducting a brief ceremony as well at the Post Auxiliary. All family and friends are invited to stay for refreshments. and socializing.
