Philip M. Choma
Philip Choma, Sr. passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2017 in Ocala, Florida. Born on May 7, 1939 in Hartford, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Anna and Anthony Choma. After graduating from Manchester High School class of 1957 and attending classes at Hillyer College (now University of Hartford). Philip served in the United States Army Reserves for 6 years and was the business owner of numerous businesses, most recently Palm Bay Coatings. Philip had a passion for playing golf, collecting model cars and enjoying a good cigar. He loved his children dearly, and touched everyone he met with his charm, honesty and his unforgettable sense of humor. He is survived by his 4 children; sons, Philip Jr., James, Patrick, and daughter, Maryann. In addition to his children, he is survived by 5 siblings, Anthony Jr., Thomas, Maryann, Stephen, and Susan. His wife, Ann Choma, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Theresa Church, 120 West Granby Road, Granby CT 06035 with a burial ceremony at East Hartland Cemetery, 43 Granville Road, East Hartland, CT 06027, following the service.
