Pauline Aliotta, 89 Lifelong Staten Islander Pauline Aliotta, 89, a lifelong Staten Islander, passed away after a brief illness on Oct. 13, 2016. She left peacefully, surrounded by her sons, Thomas and Richard, and daughters-in-law, Randi and Gail. Her beloved husband, Joseph, passed away in 1982. Pauline attended Port Richmond High School and worked for an advertising firm before leaving to raise her family. Thereafter, she served as a volunteer at Richmond University Medical Center for 34 years before retiring in June of this year. Mrs. Aliotta adored her grandchildren, Jacqueline, Eric, Heather, and Adam, who treasured her company, kindness and loving guidance. She is also survived by a brother, Steven Rycoitch, and great-granddaughter, Paige. Friends and family are invited to visit at the Harmon Funeral Home on Sunday, Oct. 16, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church.
