White, Paul Passed away on 10/05/2016. Paul was born in Bournemouth, England, in 1910. He served with the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) in France during the early stages of the WWII and was involved in the evacuation of Dunkirk. During his 105 years he traveled, lived and worked in many countries. These included England, Canada, Mexico, Burma, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, India, Sri-Lanka, Bangladesh, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, China and Tibet. His last foreign post was with the World Bank in Katmandu, Nepal. He always enjoyed the challenges and demands imposed when dealing with different cultures. On his 104th birthday, he was made Special Deputy for Maricopa County, by Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Paul enjoyed his life in PebbleCreek and the many and varied friends he made here. He will be missed. He's survived by his wife, Maria, his daughter, Erika and grandchildren Danny, Kenny & Allen.
