Paul Everest Farrier III, 38, of El Centro passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2016 of natural causes in El Centro. He was born January 12, 1978 in El Centro. Paul attended St. Mary's School Vincent Memorial and Central High School, Imprial Valley College and San Diego State University, where he received his degree in Criminal Justice Linguistics. He was an agent for Homeland Security. He was awareded numerous commendations working in the K-9 units. He loved his country, his job, his friends, family and colleagues. He loved to play pool. He loved the Holidays especially Halloween and Christmas. He was a fun compassionate man with a zest for life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He always said "I know I am not perfect. I have my flaws and my vices, but I'm the one person you want to get your back because I will go down and die trying". He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Vera Farrier and maternal graandparents, Pete and Helen Caponera. Paul is survived by his father, Paul Farrier Jr. of Tucson, AZ; mother, Loretta Farrier Pueblo, CO; sister, Amanda Farrier Hoy; brother-in-law, Jeffrey Hoy of Pueblo, CO; daughter, Kya Farrier of Las Vegas, NV; step-sister, Kory Koon of Pueblo, CO; niece, Devlyn Farrier, Pueblo, CO and many friends and loved ones. Visitation for Paul will take place Wednesday, January 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Hems Brothers Mortuary in El Centro. Mass will be at 9 a.m. Thursday, January 12 at St. Mary's Church in El Centro. The family suggest memorials be sent to Paul Everest Farrier III foundation.
