Bodrie, Dr. Paul D. January 10, 2017. Age 80, of River Rouge. Dr. Paul D. Bodrie passed away peacefully on January 10, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 6, 1936 to the late Floyd and Beulah (Bowers) Bodrie in River Rouge. Paul is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Rosemary and sons, David (Martha), Gregory (Jennifer), Anthony and daughter-in-law Margaret Hunter; five grandchildren whom he adored, Andrea (Charles) Thompson, Jillian (Bobby) Booker, Hannah and Harrison Bodrie and Becky Hunter; and three great-grandchildren, Tommy, Jenna and C.J. (Charles Jr). Dear brother of Arlene Brown, Colette (Mel) Haskins and Angie (Howard) King; sister-in-law Shirley Bodrie and brother-in-law Leslie Kellogg. Also survived by four sister-in-laws, one brother-in-law; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his brothers Douglas and David (Marilyn) and two sisters Shirley (C.T.) Tucker and Mary Lou Kellogg. This gentle hearted and kind man spent 43 years working at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish and eventually became the Pastoral Administrator until his retirement in July 2012. He touched the hearts of everyone and will be greatly missed by those who knew and worked closely with him.
