Fihn, Patsy Dittler At the age of 85, Patsy Dittler Fihn died peacefully in Seattle on Sept- ember 28th following a protracted illness. She was a devoted mother and wife who is survived by one sister, three sons, 10 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Born Patsy Jean Dittler, she was raised in Atlanta where she met and mar- ried Alexander (Zander) Fihn. They moved to his hometown, St. Louis, where they lived together for 57 years. Patsy was a talented artist and outdoorswoman who never shied from challenge be it crafting custom jewelry, dancing ballet on St. Louis' first live variety TV show, rafting the Colorado River or building cars (3 of them) from the ground up. She worked as a successful interior decorator and ballet instructor. She loved animals and in addition to having dozens of dog, cats and other animals, strongly supported the Humane Society. Patsy was devoted to her family and we are certain she will have a ball in her next great adventure. Donations may be made to the Evergreen Hospice in Seattle or the Human Society.
