Patricia Diane Phillip
Mrs. Patricia Diane Phillip, 74, of Panama City, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Tallahassee. Mrs. Phillip was born on July 31, 1942 to George and Jonnie Pauline Girten in Miami, FL. She moved to Panama City in 1974 and worked in the Fiscal Dept. of the Navy Experimental Unit for 30 yrs. until her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a member of the Women of St. John Catholic Church. Mrs. Phillip was preceded in death by both parents. She is survived by her husband, SMSgt Charles Phillip, (U.S.A.F., Ret.) of Panama City; three sons, CAPT Charles M. Phillip, (U.S. Navy, Ret.) (Jill) of Charleston, SC, Mark W. Phillip and Christopher P. Phillip both of Tampa, FL; one daughter, Maile D. Hardman (Joseph) of Dublin, GA; one sister, Sandra Louise Girten of Alpharetta, GA; six grandchildren, Shawnna, Charles, Nathaniel, Ava, Mikayla and Jordan. A funeral mass will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2017 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Rev. Kevin McQuone presiding. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Catholic Social Services in memory of Mrs. Phillip.
