Patricia "Pat" Maziarz, 81, of Archbald, and formerly of Bell Mountain, Scranton, died Monday morning at the Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Maziarz. He died April 3, 1997. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late James and Catherine Hoover Henehan. She was educated in Bell Mountain and Dickson City public schools, and before retirement, she was employed by Topps Chewing Gum, Duryea. She attended Telespond Adult Daycare program where she made many new friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who enjoyed spending time with her family, especially Sunday dinners. She instilled the importance of family values to her children. Her quick wit and sense of humor will be missed by all. She will be especially missed by her dog, Maggie. The family would like to extend a thank you to Telespond for the care she received there. Surviving are two daughters, Donna Krupovich and husband, Anthony, Archbald, with whom she resided; and Darlene Schoellig and husband, Timothy, Throop; grandchildren, Kristy Chapman, Kimberly Krupovich, Alisa Schoellig and Timothy Schoellig Jr.; great-grandchildren, Lexis, Hunter and Summer Chapman; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Mary Doherty and Irene McAndrew; and a brother, Gerard Henehan; a nephew and godchild, Thomas Doherty. The funeral will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Frank T. Mazur Funeral Home Inc., 601 Dundaff St., Dickson City, with Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in St. Mary's Visitation Church, Dickson City. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.
