Pamela J. Brauning DRESDEN: Pamela J. Brauning, 64, of Dresden, Ohio passed into the loving arms of her Savior Tuesday evening, January 10, 2017 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville. Born January 30, 1952 in Zanesville she was a daughter of the late Everett E. and Annabelle A. (Pence) Lacy and was a 1970 graduate of Tri-Valley High School. Pam was an active member of the Dresden First Baptist Church and served as church custodian for 19 years. She participated in the Ladies Fellowship at the church and was on the Christian service and flowers committees. She loved traveling and enjoyed many trips with family and friends. A stay at home mom, she was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving is her loving husband of 45 years, Dean Brauning, whom she married June 19, 1971; one daughter, Holly (Scott) Wolford of Dresden; one son Chad Brauning of Westerville, Ohio; four grandchildren, Kayla (Josh) Richardson of Dresden, Brittany Wolford and Seth Wolford, both of Dresden and Tyler Brauning of Hilliard, Ohio. Also surviving is one sister, Chris (Jerry) Hahn of Dresden; several nieces and nephews; and many great friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, David Michael Lacy. Calling hours will be 5pm to 8pm Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Dresden First Baptist Church, 801 Chestnut Street with Pastor Joe Offenberger officiating. Burial will be in Dresden Cemetery.
