Omer G. Trumble
NORTH ADAMS - Omer G. Trumble, 74, of North Adams passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016, surrounded by his family. He was born Aug. 16, 1942, in Hillsdale County, Wheatland Township, Mich., to Ross and Hazel (Hunt) Trumble. He married Anita M. Siegfried on April 15, 1964, in Somerset, Mich., and she survives. Omer lived in North Adams all his life and he attended North Adams Schools. He worked at Tecumseh Products in Tecumseh, Mich., for 44 years. He also farmed his entire life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at "Lake Omer" with his family. Surviving, besides his wife of 52 years, Anita, are daughters, Janelle (Clair Kropaczewski), Jeannene (Shawn Warner), Jennifer (Bryan) Cook and Joni (Kevin) Jones; grandchildren, Teresa, Robert, Morgan (Staci) Lori (Jason), Frederick (Ashleigh), Nathan, Ashley (Zach), Chelsea (Briar), Courtney (Brett), Gracie, Callie, Brittany (Ben), Jacob, Connor and Abbie; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Gabby, Jaylynn, Jayden, Manlee, Ethan, Mercedes, Kiaya, Maria, Taylor, Layne, Aleia, Bostynn, BraeLeigh, Braeleigh, Makinley, Bransyn, Wyatt and Natalie; one brother, Bruce (Barb) Trumble of Brooklyn; two sisters, Fran Scott of Jonesville and Sherry Johnson of Union City; one brother-in-law, James Lyons of Hillsdale; three sisters-in-law, Geri Trumble of North Adams, Betty Trumble of Jerome and Delores Trumble of Addison; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Omer was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Robert, Richard, Carl and Ralph; and three sisters, Delia, Melva and Judy. A funeral service to honor the life of Mr. Omer G. Trumble will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at the Hampton Funeral Home in Hillsdale with Pastor David Wruck officiating. Interment will take place at Pease Cemetery in Wheatland Township. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home in Hillsdale.
