White, Mrs. Novia James , Age 95, died Monday January 9, 2017 at Baptist Health. She was the former Ida Nannette von Siebenthal, born June 9, 1921 to John and Rachel Moremen von Siebenthal. She was a member of St. Matthews United Methodist Church, Fincastle Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Past Chaplain General of the National Society Colonial Dames Seventeenth Century, Past Kentucky State Presidentof CDCVIIC, member of John Combs Chapter CGXVIIC, President Kentuckiana Chapter of National Society Founders and Patriots of America, Society of Colonial Clergy, Jamestowne Society, Baronial Odre of the Magna Charta, Order of the Crown of Charlemagne in the U.S., and Louisville Girls High Alumnea. She is preceded in death by her husband, N. J. White and sister, Mrs. William Arthur Griffes (Jean). She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Frederic (Barbara Ann); Incline Village, NV., two sons, Leslie Owen White; Lenior, N.C., and William Wesley White; Richmond, VA., Five grandchildren & Seven great grandchildren. Graveside services will be noon Thursday at Cave Hill Cemetery. Memorials in lieu of flowers, to St. Matthews United Methodist Church.
