PIQUA — Norma Jean Million, age 90 of Piqua, passed away Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her home. Norma was born in Greenville on June 18, 1926 to the (late) David Edward & Helen (Sampson) Manning; retired from Hobart, Troy; previously worked at Atlas Underwear, Piqua; and previously attended Bradford Church of the Brethren. Preceded in death by her parents; husband of 50 years, Harley E. Million in 2001; grandson, Jeremy Mescher in 2012; brother, Eldon Manning; and sister, Georgia Manning. Norma is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harley & Jimmie Million of Mableton, GA; her daughter and son-in-law, Jane & Christopher Mescher of Bradford; seven grandchildren, Stephanie & Alan Lamb of Marietta, GA, Joseph & Maggie Million of Kennesaw, GA, John L. Bodine of Marietta, GA, Carl & Jammie Thomas of McDonough, GA, Keith & Trista Chapman of Pennacle, NC, Jamie & Jeremy Smith of Piqua, Jodie Mescher of Bradford; 24 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Mary & Floyd Shumaker of Springfield; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside service 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at Greenville Creek Cemetery, Buckneck Road, Bradford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the State of the Heart Hospice, Greenville.
