In memory of
Norma Larson-Behrens Norma Larson-Behrens, 88, passed away peacefully on January 6th, 2017 in Rochester Minnesota. She was our positive penny. She taught us many life lessons: Always look for the good in everybody no matter how awful they act, always find the blue sky during a thunderstorm, be kind to everybody, enjoy everything you do and everywhere you go, appreciate the little things, always have a smile on your face, sing all the time (especially Up the Lazy River), dance even if you have a walker, and love your family more than anything. Norma was born in Red Wing Minnesota to Oscar and Hildur Rosenberg in 1928. Norma was a lifelong employee and retired from the Mayo Clinic. She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Larson, brother Edward, and sister Colleen. She is survived by her children Cindy Larson (JD), Wendy Larson (Lori Nustvold) and Annie Kelnhofer (Guy Kelnhofer). She enjoyed 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband Eugene Behrens. The family would like to thank the many aides that have worked to support and care for Norma to remain in her home for the past several years. You have been a gift to the family. A celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be reposted. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be welcomed by the family to the ALS foundation or at (Annie Kelnhofer) 1946 E. 250th Street.
