Norma L. Graham
Norma L. Graham, 85, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away at the Hershey Medical Center on Saturday, January 7, 2017 with her family by her side. She was born on May 8, 1931, in Lewistown, PA to the late Donald and Alfaretta (Heasley) Kauffman. She was predeceased by her husband, Gary Graham in 2009. Norma was an avid fan of Penn State football and Washington Nationals baseball. She participated in Bible study and fellowship groups at St. Mark's Lutheran throughout her adult life, and was a frequent volunteer working with children and the elderly including leading Scout troops, delivering Meals on Wheels, and helping at Bible School. Norma was devoted to her family, and as her grandchildren arrived and grew she was dedicated to attending grandparent's days, band concerts, dance recitals, cheer and gymnastics competitions, soccer and hockey games, and graduations. She also enjoyed travelling with family and friends. Norma is survived by her children, Thomas P. Graham (Kathy) of Harrisburg, PA, Mary Jane Graham of Mystic, CT and Nancy Schopman (Herman) of Houston, TX. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Christian, Sarah, Lauren, Maria, Eva, Gregory and Luke, and sisters Martha Ocker (Sidney) of Sunbury, PA and Linda Vorce (Gerald) of Carnegie, PA. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 6:30 8:30 p.m. at the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 4200 Londonderry Road, Harrisburg. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at the St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church with Rev. James E. Person officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Norma's name to St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Inc., Harrisburg.
