Norma Wilson French
FRENCH, Norma Wilson Saturday, October 8th, 2016, our beloved Norma Wilson French went to be with our Lord and her husband R.L. French. Born August 14, 1931 (85) in Galveston, TX, she graduated from Ball High School in 1949 and then attended the University of Texas in Austin. She was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and received a degree in Elementary Education. After college, she dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rosalie Wilson, her husband of 51 years, R.L. French, and her son Steven French. She is survived by her children Laurie French Carter (Paul), Michael French (Marty), and Ellen French House (Michael) of Indianapolis. She was referred to as "Nor Nor" by all of her grandchildren: Hunter Carter (Melissa), Beau Carter, Russell, Renee and Randon French, Davis, Margaret and Clayton House and her great-grandchildren Hudson and Ella Carter. She is also survived by her brother Charles Wilson Jr. who lives in League City, Texas. She chose to donate her body to UT Southwestern. A Memorial Service was held for a small group of family on Friday October, 14th, 2016.
