Noah Benjamin Aycoth, 23 months and 3 weeks old, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at Moses Cone Hospital. Noah was born a perfect child of God! He inspired each and every single person he came in contact with, and he gave everything he had for everyone around him. Noah is the greatest blessing his family and his friends have ever known. Noah was a medical miracle, who far exceed the expectations medical experts even thought possible, and though he spent time in hospitals throughout North Carolina, he even inspired the caregivers who worked there to be better people. The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, therapists and caregivers who helped with Noah, especially Jana, Priscilla and Sarah. Noah's presence on this earth will be missed by all, but he continues to thrive in the hearts and minds of those he touched. He is and will always be his parents' greatest blessing! A celebration of Noah's life was held Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at Lawndale Baptist Church with Dr. Joe Giaritelli officiating. He is survived by his parents, Jason and Kimberly Aycoth of Greensboro; grandparents, David and Carol Aycoth of Salisbury and Sharon Lyles of High Point; great-grandparents, Walter Leather of Salisbury, Hal and Jeanette Gordon of Chicago, Ill. and Laurice Gordon of High Point; and aunts and uncles, Bryan and Ashley Aycoth, Maurice Gordon, Billy Powell and Jana Goldsmith. Memorials: May be made to Lawndale Baptist Church to be distributed to charities that helped Noah.
