NICHOLAS BUCCI CRIDERSVILLE — Nicholas W. Bucci, Jr., 89, of Lima, passed away at 2:13 AM on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Otterbein Senior Living Center, Cridersville. He was born on August 4, 1927, in Jenkintown, PA to Nicola and Angelina (Benedetto) Bucci, Sr., who both preceded him in death. On September 8, 1951, he married Theresa Sangermano, who preceded him in death on February 7, 2012. In 1953, he came to Lima's Westinghouse Aerospace Electrical Division to work as an electric power system engineer on designs for many commercial and military aircraft. In 1970, he was appointed Division Engineering Manager, leading the finest group of its kind in the aerospace industry. In 1977, two years after the death of "Chi" Chiazza, the former Division General Manager, he Nicholas left Westinghouse to enter the Management and Professional training business. He conducted workshops throughout the Eastern United States and Europe. He served as a change agent helping a client's company achieve a new focus and direction. In 1989, he formed NWBucci Associates to provide independent sales representation, training services and public speaking. In 1996, he ended his sales rep activities, but added general consulting to the services he offered. In 2005, he published a book titled "The Richest Person Who Ever Lived", recounting his journey to find God and the lessons he learned from it. The book's goal was to help the readers realize how the title applies to them. Nick was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, where he started "Living Your Strengths". He loved to help people and enjoyed gardening and raising tomatoes. He also served his country as a member of the US Army. Surviving are his three daughters Barbara (Donald) Kruse of Cincinnati, OH, Donna (Michael) McEwan of Columbus and Gina (Jon) Schenk of Morris Plains, NJ. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 17, 2017 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL where a Rosary will be said at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Entombment will be at Gethsemani Cemetery Mausoleum with military services being conducted by VFW Post 1275 and members of the US Army.
