Ned Thomas Bitsack
Ned Thomas Bitsack DDS of Nashua, 60, passed peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on October 13, 2016. He was born on September 9, 1956 and grew up in Oradell, NJ. Ned was the son of the late Joseph and Gloria (Frisco) Bitsack. He was survived by his longtime partner Gail Cook of Nashua, his daughters Alyssa Whitebone of Goffstown, Nicole Susko of Nashua, and grandson Landon James of Goffstown. Ned Leaves behind his sister Paula Reeder of Still Pond MD, brothers Timothy Bitsack of Mendham, NJ, Jeffrey Bitsack of Bainbridge Island, WA, Jay Bitsack of Bethlehem, PA, his niece Jessica Bitsack of Morristown, NJ, and nephew Devin Bitsack of Shanghai, China. Ned spent many years dedicated to academics. Among the time he spent in school, he graduated Ithaca College in 1978, and continued to NYU Dental School graduating in 1984. He was a member of NH Dental Society, a fellow in Academy of General Dentistry, and a member of the Master Academy of General Dentistry. Ned was passionately dedicated to his Dentistry practice of 30 years in the Greater Merrimack Community. He regretfully entered retirement when his health declined, and passed his practice along to Dr. Yelena Popkova. He was a sport shooting enthusiast and invented Chamber-View empty chamber indicators for Shotguns, Rifles and Pistols. They are used widely in competitions and are available online and at many important retail locations. No formal services will be held at this time. In lieu of flowers, gift donations can be made to pancreatic research, Protocol 11328 at Mass General Hospital.
