Nancy L. (Alsbury) Woolsey-Greer
Nancy L. Woolsey-Greer, 77, of Sullivan, Ind., formerly of Vandalia, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2018, at her daughter's home in Sullivan, Ind. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday at Unity Baptist Church in Vandalia, with the Rev. Loren File officiating. Burial will be in Fairlawn Cemetery in Vandalia. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of services on Saturday at the church. Memorials: Women of the Moose in Vandalia. Miller Funeral Home in Vandalia was in charge of arrangements. Online condolences can be expressed at www.millerfh.net. Mrs. Woolsey-Greer was born on March 18, 1940, in Shafter, the daughter of Richard Alfred and Dorothy Mae (Hampton) Alsbury. She married Donald "Pistol" Woolsey on Aug. 17, 1964; he passed away on Jan. 16, 1992. She married Floyd Kenneth "Kenny" Greer on June 12, 2001, in Laughlin, Nev.; he passed away on June 4, 2011. Nancy was a retired cook for Vandalia Junior High School, and was a founding member of Women of the Moose in Vandalia. She is survived by a son, Donald L. "Don" Woolsey and Julie of Fillmore; daughter, Donna Hiatt and Lance of Sullivan, Ind.; grandchildren, Ryan, Zachary, Dylan, Dalton, Dakota, Dalton, Emmi and Colin; great-grandchildren, Camden, Kenzly, Lucy, Darby, Tyson, Tatum and Banx; brother, Michael Alsbury; sisters, Patricia Brown, Barbara Denton, Phyllis Miller, LeNette Belt, June Jones, Paula McNeely, Karen Calfas and Vicki Stewart. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; brother, John Alsbury; and sister, Linda Rine.
