Brandon, Nancy Lee, went to be with the Lord, on September 21st 2016 at the age of 64. She was diagnosed in 2007 with cancer and she waged a long, inspiring battle. Her husband of 40 years, Tim Brandon, was at her side when she died in their home in Yorba Linda, Ca. She leaves 6 adult children: Kimberly Hollar, Brandi Bondurant, Tim Brandon, Philip Brandon, Tami Wahl, Kristie Brown, and also leaves 9 grandchildren. She was born Nancy Lee Duff, the fifth of nine children of Robert and Marie Duff of Temple City, Ca. on June 30th, 1952. She is also survived by her siblings, Dr. Robert Duff, William Duff, Joan Newbiggin, Gloriann Connor, Kathleen Hernandez and Dori Duff. In her early years she was athletic and strong minded. She met the love of her life, Tim Brandon, in 1975 and they were married in 1976. She was a devoted mother supporting her children's interests in sports, dancing, and animal science. When her mother died in 1981, she and Tim opened their home to all their siblings and their families for holidays and family celebrations. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She also loved to play cards and Scrabble. Nancy became even more and more beautiful over the years as she developed a deep faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She became a Stephen Minister in her church. She attended Biola University where she earned her bachelors degree, then became a Spiritual Director, and was finishing her masters degree. She was the lead author of the book "Sacred Suffering, Finding Purpose In Our Pain". She had a way of making a person feel they were special. She was known for her gifts of hospitality, creativity, encouragement, and empathy. We will always remember her amazing smile. A Life Celebration service will be held on Saturday, October 15th, 2016 at Richfield Community Church in Yorba Linda.
