Nan Elizabeth Irwin (née Nan E. Nally, Nan Pinero) passed peacefully in her sleep at her Green Hills home on Oct. 1st, 2016. A skilled professional artist and storyteller, she was known most recently for her religious icons. After graduating Kutztown University, Liz taught art at Twin Valley High and later Head Start for a few years. She lived and had professional art showings in Napa, California, Anchorage, Alaska, St. Augustine, Fla., and Berks Co., Pa. She leaves behind her husband of 38 years, David Irwin; adult children: Alex Pinero, Miranda Pinero and Mariah Irwin; sibings: William, Jennifer and Meghan Nally; grandchildren: Evan Joseph-Pinero, Lexi and Haile Pinero and Finnigan Simcik; five nieces: Lahoma Howard, Mollie Nally Morningstar, Gabrielle Hole, Kiernan Murray and Rosie Bernaducci; and also six nephews: David Nally, Ben, Michael and Harry Delfin, Boyle Irwin and Gabrial Trieb; and far too many friends at the Goggleworks Center for the Arts and St. Gabriels Episcopal in Douglassville. She will be sorely missed by everyone. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be send to St. Gabes in Douglassville.
